On April 26, Pavel Elizarov, the chairman of the All-Israel Association of Mountain Jews from the Caucasus, and other officials came to the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate the heroes of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for territorial integrity and were martyred in the battles with the Armenian invaders.

They came to the grave of the legendary tank commander, national hero of Azerbaijan, Albert Agarunov, who was originally a Jew, and commemorated his dear memory.

Our people always cherish the memory of Albert Agarunov and perpetuate his name. The righteous work started by the brave sons in the 44-day Patriotic War, which began under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Muzaffar, resulted in the restoration of historical justice. The dreams of sons like Albert, who fought for the right war for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, were fulfilled by their heroic followers on the battlefield of the 44-day Patriotic War.

In the end, guests and officials came to the "Eternal Torch" monument complex and laid flowers in front of the monument.
