Azerbaijan Jewish Media Center participated in the "Ambassadors of Truth" International Conference in Israel

On 27 March, the international conference "Ambassadors of Truth" – dedicated to the fight against anti-Semitism – continued its work in the building of the national complex Benianei Ha'uma (Nation Building).

Representatives from over 29 countries participated in the conference. Delegates, comprising journalists, politicians, public and state figures from various countries under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, shared their perspectives on the issue of combating the pernicious phenomenon of anti-Semitism on a global scale.

Initially, our delegation experienced a sense of alienation, as we found ourselves unable to contribute meaningful insights regarding the incident involving Azerbaijan.

However, subsequent interactions, notably with Boaz Bismuth, a member of the Israeli Knesset, served to clarify the purpose of our presence at the conference. Instead of engaging in discourse on anti-Semitism, the deputy began to enthusiastically expound on his personal affinity for Azerbaijan, particularly the cities of Baku and Guba.

The beauty that appeared before him, akin to the people living in beautiful Azerbaijan, simply amazed him.

We were the sole representatives of the global community to proudly represent the press of the Jewish community of Azerbaijan, both within the country itself and within the community of people of Azerbaijani origin in Israel.

In the context of the escalating concern surrounding anti-Semitism, the representatives of the Azerbaijan Jewish Media Center perceived themselves as exemplars of respect and affection for the Jewish people and Israel in Azerbaijan, and, reciprocally, respect for Azerbaijan in Israel.

The conference had a profound impact on a global scale.

The commitment to combat anti-Semitism on a global scale and to promote educational initiatives aimed at fostering amicable relations between Israel and Azerbaijan, as well as collaborative endeavours in numerous domains, was further reiterated.
